Hydrogen Fuel Cell
While hydrogen is currently not a widely-used alternative fuel, it holds the possibility of creating completely emission-free vehicles. These vehicles use fuel cells that convert hydrogen to electricity, producing only water vapor and warm air in the process. Researchers are working on creating a sustainable and efficient hydrogen production process to create more widespread use of these fuel cell electric vehicles. For more information, go to the Alternative Fuels Data Center’s Hydrogen page.
H2 Matchmaker Map
H2 Matchmaker is an online information resource to assist hydrogen suppliers and users identify opportunities to expand development toward realizing regional hydrogen hubs. A regional hydrogen hub is a network of hydrogen producers, potential or actual hydrogen consumers, and connective infrastructure located in close proximity. To include your hydrogen activity or activities in H2 Matchmaker, please fill out the H2 Matchmaker form.
